I am starting to tear down my 39 Indian. I want to do it red but how do I find out the right red? And what kind of paint and brand do I use? I want to do as original.

PPG 2 coat Indian Red is Base: DMD622 156.4
DMD1609 288.0
DMD1605 322.8
DMD1683 332.8
DMD646 337.6 1 pint formula

DBX 1689 511.2 clear coat

Take that to a PPG automotive paint supplier, and you have Indian Red,, some where I have the formula for 1 step, but the 2 looks better and is more durable. Your black parts should be, DBC9700 PPG
