holding a head

Could I please get some ideas on holding a knucklehead in a Bridgeport to repair a head that had been used with pan cylinders? Thanks

Depending on what you need to do with it, plain ole studs, flat washers, and nuts for adjusting and locking do the tricks for me, when working with hard to mount work pieces. A right angle plate helps for holding the work piece in 90 degree postions that way also. You may have to fab and machine a fixture to do these technics. Paps

head

Need to have cylinder face up, move a head bolt back into location, nothing to really work from on valve tin side, as far as a set up goes. Think I have to fixture off the cylinder face, no big deal, just thought after so many ways to get a seat bushing out, wanted to here what other guys do. Thanks
