Isn't Rick Fairless' place "Strokers" in Dallas. He's a pretty interesting guy in spite of the goofy TV show he used to do. Might be worth checking out.

Re: what to do in dallas

that's right Buzz, Rick Fairless shop is in Dallas, along with his icehouse. Interesting place to go on the weekend, generally see some old iron along with some other interesting bikes.

Also right down the road is the Old Bike Shop. Always have some good old bikes there. worth the trip. Rob, when are you going to be in town? If I know ahead of time I might be able to get some of our bikes over there and talk old school with you.

here's the website for the old bike shop

Yes, the old bike shop is wroth stopping at. If you were to leave Strokers and head south on Harry Hines and take a right on Empire Central and it is just down on the left before you get to I-35. It is closed on Mondays.
